Dobermann Dogs Critique

"Millward's Nearctic Jack Spicer; This dog just stood out in this class, a good size lovely head, nice dark eyes with a good under jaw, excellent front and topline with a good spring of rib, well muscled rear which he moved with drive, does not need any more weight on him, he's perfect as he is, I was pleased to awarded him the dog CC and RBIS.

VETERAN DOG (2 entries).

1st Schneider's Furstklars Evolution. 9 year old bt, nice head, sound front for his age, good short back, good bone, nice tight feet, good strong hind quarters with a good turn of stifle, moved and showed well for his age.

2nd Fisher's Lintoya Secret Alliance. Another 9 year old not looking his age, very similar to the fist place dog just preferred the front on the first, both dogs are a credit to there owners.

MINOR PUPPY DOG (5 entries).

1st Elmslie's Chancepixies Spirit at Kinmonth. 6 ½ months old bt, lovely head with good head planes, nice dark eyes, good length of neck and lay back of shoulders with a nice front and good cat like feet, good bone and topline, moved and showed well, looked very much a baby against the puppy winner.

2nd Brown's Feelance Collaterral. 6 months old bt, very much a baby, has a lovely out line with the same points as the first place pup just was not as settled as the first.

3rd Downie's Knecht Macduba.

PUPPY DOG (4 entries).

1st Messers Cairns & Mycroft's Supetas Al Pacino at Forestivorys. 11 ½ months, excellent head with a good dark eye, good mouth with a good under jaw, shoulders and front was excellent, well boned, strong topline good rear angulation which it showed when he moved, well bodied when standing, has a very clean out line, one to look out for the future, best puppy dog and with my co judge went on to be best puppy in show.

2nd Jones Amazon Russian Ice. 11 months, head, neck and shoulders were good, nice round bone, good topline and rear angulation, moved and showed well.

3rd Harkness Jeujaans Lavido Le Vito.

JUNIOR DOG (9 entries, 2 absent).

1st Quigley & Day's Swnydwr Whistle Blower. Still a puppy, very mature pup for his age, good shoulders, head and front, lovely out line on him, strong topline with a good back end on him, one of the few that moved with drive on the day.

2nd Brown's Jojavik Charlie Brown. 14 months old, good head, nice shoulders and front, very elegant square dog, just preferred a little more bone on him.

3rd Mayer's Amazon Kandy Man.

YEARLING DOG (7 entries, 1 absent, 1 Transfer).

1st Ingram's CH Jojavik Mafioso. Nearly two years old, excellent head, neck and front, good topline, best mover in the class a very worthy champion.

2nd Horgan's Aritaur Philosophy. 16 months old, excellent outline on this dog, nice and square, just preferred a bit more spring of rib on him, needed to settle down a bit, could have moved a bit better

3rd Mayer's Amazon Kandy Man.

MAIDEN DOG (3 entries, 1 absent).

1st Jones' Amazon Russian Ice. (Repeat).

2nd Wilcox's Amazon Nadal. 12 months old, a very raw pup, head neck and font is all ok, needs to tighten up, handler did not get the best out of him.

NOVICE DOG (4 entries, 1 absent).

1st Downie's Knecht Macduba. This dog was placed third in minor pup, a different handler in this class and the dog was a lot more settled, moved a lot better.

2nd Jones' Amazon Russian Ice (Repeat).

3rd Anderson's Krieger Ring Master.

GRADUATE DOG (4 entries).

1st Young's Malibray Malarky. Two year old, good strong head, nice front, good round bone, nice strong back, well muscled hind quarters, lovely mover, kept his topline when on the move.

2nd Cairns' Jodaseen Jamiroqual. Br, dog of a good size, well balanced without being over the top, just missed out on the movement of the first placed dog.

3rd Pollard's Amazon Eldorado at Whizzbean.

POST GRADUATE DOG (6 entries).

1st Moor & Mcphee's Trystorme Zhivago. 3 years old, bt one of the best heads of the day, lovely dark eyes, well placed good under jaw, neck shoulders and topline is very good, moved and showed ok, handler needs to pay attention in the ring to get the best out of him.

2nd Todd's Supetas Feelin Hot Hot Hot at Toffarbach. very similar to the first, liked him but didn't move as well as the first.

3rd Hall & Burnett's Supetas Taylers Dezign at Zuffenhausen.

LIMIT DOG (17 entries, 1 absent).

1st Millward's Nearctic Jack Spicer. 2nd Evans' Amazon El Torro. Very similar to the first, has all the same good points as first place, just preferred the head on the CC winner.

3rd Jones & Tilley's Supeta Iggy Pop.

OPEN DOG (12 entries, 1 absent).

1st Mullholland's Aritaur Tomahawk Marillium. A good honest dog of good size, lovely head, nice dark eyes, excellent front and shoulders, deep chest well sprung rib, hind quarters ok with good turn stifle, moved and showed well, just preferred the outline on the CC winner, but still gave him the RCC.

2nd Bennett, Smith & Mycroft's CH\LUX CH Supetas Ozzy Osbourne. Excellent dog of good type, head shoulders and front are excellent, level topline which he kept on the move.

3rd Feeney's Diegos Bump 'n' Grind.
